4-Day Work Week

Work 32 Hours &
Get Paid for 40!

With the struggle to fill positions in the Communities. Capri had to try something new, so they started a 4-Day Work Week program. It applies to both Part-Time and Full-Time staff. While Part-Time staff tends to only work 3 days a week, all they would need to do is pick up one shift to earn Full-Time pay.

Before Capri Communities could promote the 4-Day Work Week positions, they needed eye-catching materials to draw in applicants between 16 and 25 years old. I took on this campaign and ran with it! I enjoyed creating for a younger audience and looked at designs that would capture my attention.

The program first launched at Village Pointe Commons and quickly spread to Harbor Campus, St. Rita Square, and St. Catherine Commons. The positions included Caregivers, Dietary Aids, Cooks, and LPNs. When the program was made public the first two communities saw a 100% increase in applicants and received more applicants in the first two months than in the past two years.

Starting Point

I started with designing the main flyer and then translated it into a social media post. Once these materials were created, I had multiple ideas of I could use the design elements to create the other promotional materials requested.

Village Pointe Commons

Staff Incentive Program

Village Pointe Commons wanted to grow excitement for the 4-Day Work Week with their staff, so they created an incentive program. If staff members shared the 4-Day Work Week on their social media accounts they would get to pull a prize off of the prize board.

Prize Board

Village Pointe Commons wanted a prize board with 45 prizes to play off of the 4 for 5 work-week. I made several color variations with blank backs and laminated them. This allows the team to write with Expo markers and reuse them in the future with different prizes.

Social Media Teaser Campaign

To grow the excitement I created 5 posts leading up to the big reveal that highlighted the benefits of the program.
