evoke liveliness

Having exhausted my high school’s art classes, I moved forward to college art classes at UWM my senior year of high school. Being the youngest in all of my classes was very intimidating, but this grew my confidence and skills. Design is something that is forever changing, and that excites me. I have always looked at things and thought about how could I make them better. Having this mindset allowed me to get an internship at a small business. I worked on social media, specifically Instagram, because this is where I saw a place for me to improve. I had to pitch myself for a position that didn’t exist. I gained experience in collaboration, time management, and working with specific brand guidelines. I graduated a semester early with honors on December 20th, 2020 with a BFA in Design and Visual Communications. I am constantly growing as a designer and I am excited to see where it takes me.

My interests

I have a one-year-old Shiba Inu named Lemon. I got her at the start of quarantine, so she only knows how to be the center of attention. In between our daily walks and time at the dog park, I love to spend my time being creative. I love to weave, draw on my iPad, cook, and redecorate. I am also very passionate about working out and incorporate it into my day no matter what. I have a love-hate relationship with my plants - they can be so dramatic! When Covid calms down, I would love to get back into pottery making and traveling.
